Second Engineer for Chemical Tanker at Marshal Ship Management Pvt Ltd

We are looking for a skilled Second Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engineering team and maintaining the vessel's mechanical systems. The Second Engineer will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering Operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting the Chief Engineer in decision-making. This role requires excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing the engineering team and daily Operations.
2. Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems.
3. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maritime regulations.
4. Support the Chief Engineer in operational planning and decision-making.
5. Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Second Engineer certification from a recognized maritime authority.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• STCW certification and other relevant training.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
• Experience in Chemical Tanker engineering.
